Choosing a speaker...

Choosing a speaker is often a compromise between space available and speaker size. In general a bigger speaker will produce a better sound, especially in bass response. Magnet strength and construction also play an important role.

BigSoundTM Model 97 and BigSound 2K2TM both deliver 16 bit polyphonic reproduction through a powerful, low noise, low distortion, amplifier that can drive virtually any 8-ohm speaker, or speaker combination, to surprisingly loud volumes. The BigSound 2K2TM, P and PB Series sound boards drive speaker loads down to 4 ohms.

Our speakers...

A poor loudspeaker can distort the audio reproduction, therefore we offer only top quality models. Our speakers feature large, oversized magnets that are capable louder volume and higher fidelity than you might normally expect from such small speaker.

You should choose the largest speaker that wll fit the enclosure where it will be used.

Our standard speaker choices are shown in the following table along with some general information.

Let us know if you have a specific speaker need not listed here, we can usually find a non-stock solution to your need.
