PSHAY: 38 Ton Shay Locomotive

Many industrial and lumber railroads ran steam engines with unusual cylinder arrangements, namely the Shay, Climax and Hiesler. The Shay was the most common and hence, you can still see them operating in such tourist locations as the Cass Scenic Railroad and the National Museum of Science and Technology.
Listen as the Phoenix BigSound™ reproduces the shuffle of the unique cylinder arrangement on the 38 Ton Shay, which was developed specifically for Phoenix Industries.
